  Occupational Safety and Health Policy

  We all recognize “safety takes precedence over everything” and aim to create a “safe and secure workplace” under the foundation of good communication, working towards raising the safety awareness of each employee.

  1. 1. Katsushiro first ensures “a work environment where employees can work safely and securely.”
  2. 2. In order to realize the above, Katsushiro promotes “active occupational safety, health, and hygiene activities” with the cooperation of all employees.
  3. 3. Responsible personnel in each department of Katsushiro recognize the above as the top priority and lead by example.

  Action Policy

  1. 1. We will promote the practice of “pointing and naming” to maintain discipline and create a safe working environment.
  2. 2. We will work on risk reduction at every stage of design, procurement, and manufacturing, and promote the prevention of occupational accidents.
  3. 3. We will comply with 5S and 4K, and promote occupational safety and health management in accordance with safety and health-related laws and internal regulations.
  4. 4. We will promote the improvement of the physical and mental health of employees by providing an environment and opportunities for health maintenance and enhancement.
  5. 5. In order to execute the action policy, we will utilize appropriate and suitable management resources such as personnel and materials.

• Safety Dojo (Training Center)

  We have established an experiential training center. We aim for a workplace with zero accidents by continuously conducting hazard prediction training for both newcomers and veterans, updating the count of accident-free days every day.

  

Efforts for Skill and Technology Improvement

• Skill Competition

  By holding skill competitions, we confirm the knowledge and skills learned through various lectures and on-the-job training. Through these efforts, we strive for overall improvement in the company’s technology.

  

• Skill Committee

  We engage in the transmission of craftsmanship skills that can be considered the “soul of Katsushiro” in terms of cutting, bending, welding, etc., which cannot be acquired in a short period of time. Internal instructors who have transmitted their skills not only improve their own skills but also pass on their skills to the next generation, making Katsushiro Matex’s quality something to be proud of worldwide.
