Why did you choose to join Katsushiro Matex?

    I thought it was a company that truly values its employees. The part of the president’s policy that says, “Human resources are the company’s “treasure,” and we cultivate and educate human resources,” resonated with me.

    I understand! In fact, there are really good people here.

    Through company information sessions and interviews, I felt that many employees were acting with consideration for the other party’s position and the customer’s position. The fact that what is valued in the company’s long history has permeated the employees, made me really want to work at this company! What about you, MK?

  • MK

    I joined with the idea that even in the General Position recruitment, I would like to experience the Manufacturing Position for 1-2 years after joining! In the future, I want to work as a salesperson or production management, but I think that experiencing actual manufacturing will be an asset in the future when I have various meetings with major manufacturers. I believe that learning about manufacturing at an early stage will have a positive impact on my personal growth.

What was your impression from the interviews?

    I wanted to talk more with the interviewer! I got the impression that they really listened to what I had to say about myself.

  • HA

    I tend to get nervous, but I had a strong impression that the interviews at Katsushiro Matex were less nerve-wracking, and I was able to approach them with relaxation.

  • OT

    In other companies, I had the impression that I was asked questions in a straightforward manner, but at Katsushiro Matex, they brought out detailed anecdotes, so I felt like they really got to know me! I’m left with a happy feeling that I was able to convey myself firmly after the interview.

    Honestly, I think the points people consider when choosing a company vary from person to person, so I hope everyone finds a company that suits them without compromise.

What were the key points you emphasized in choosing a company during your job search?

  • HA

    For me, I emphasized whether I could “utilize my individuality” and whether I could “grow in the long term.” If I could utilize my individuality, I believed that I could enjoy my work while contributing to the company.

  • MM

    The welfare benefits are also excellent here. As I learned more about Katsushiro Matex, I began to think of it as a company where I could balance work and life while continuing to grow in the long term.

    My axis for job hunting was “joining a company that values good human relationships and teamwork.” I didn’t change that, but I tried to broaden my horizons by participating in various industry information sessions. Thanks to that, I was able to join a company like Katsushiro Matex that suits me!

Listening to Young Employees’ Ideas is Stimulating

    I make an effort to communicate with various people across departments. Especially, the ideas of young employees are highly creative and stimulating.
    Mr. OR was promoted to the position of section chief in his twenties when he transferred a year ago. I was particularly interested in him, and I remember feeling pleased when I saw him express his ideas confidently, thinking, “We have a promising young talent.”

    (Blushing) Thank you.
    My first impression of Mr. TH was that he thinks logically and acts quickly. The process of investigating the causes when problems occur is an important skill for developing countermeasures to prevent recurring issues. I plan to absorb more from Mr. TH and establish my own style.

Casual Conversations with Superiors Contribute to Personal Growth

    Since becoming a section chief, I have been responsible for the important task of connecting the products from the cutting process to the welding process in the press department.

It’s Interesting How Your Ideas and Actions Can Improve Efficiency and Safety

    What I’m currently struggling with is that the bending process using the large press machine takes too long. We have similar equipment in overseas factories, but how did you improve efficiency when you were assigned there, Mr. TH?

  • TH

    When I was assigned to the overseas factory, we improved efficiency, quality, and safety by preparing specialized tools tailored to the products. Shall we schedule a meeting with the overseas factory?

    What’s interesting about our company is that our ideas and actions can lead to improved efficiency and safety. Don’t forget that Katsushiro Metex exists to protect the safety of our employees and the quality of the products we deliver to our customers. Production efficiency is important, but always remember to uphold the trust that our company has built over more than 60 years.

    This conversation today was focused on improving the productivity of press products, but I found it stimulating to learn that Mr. OR is diligently working on various tasks considering different factors.

    No, no. I still have a lot to learn, and I can only observe the operations on the field.

  • TH

    Mr. OR, actually, observing the actual operations on the field is very important for identifying areas for improvement. Although the role of a section chief involves more desk work and sometimes leaves you in charge of the field, don’t be satisfied with the current situation. I look forward to your proposals that will further enhance Katsushiro quality.
